A three-year course in Hebrew will be offered this semester at the University of Maryland, it was announced here. The course includes conversational Hebrew and a survey of Hebrew literature. Meanwhile, it was revealed here that a campaign to raise $125,000 for the construction of a new Hillel Foundation center at the University will be launched shortly. More than 1,000 Jewish students currently are enrolled at the institution.
