A four-credit course in beginners Hebrew will be given at the University of Wisconsin branch in Milwaukee next fall, officials announced here. The course will be taught by Dr. William Furie, director of the Milwaukee Bureau of Jewish Education.
The Wisconsin Society for Jewish Learning called the new addition to the curriculum “a giant step forward” in its efforts to further Jewish education in this city.
