The special committee on refugees and displaced persons, which was established at last month’s meeting of the UNO General Assembly, will hold its first session here on April 8, UNO Secretary General Trygve Lie said today.
Addressing a press conference, prior to his departure for New York on Sunday to attend the sessions of the UNO Security Council which is slated to open on March 25, Lie also announced that the Commission on Human Rights will meet in New York on April 29.
