The second session of the Council of the United Nations Relief and Rehabilitation Administration will open in Montreal on September 15, it was announced here today by Director General Herbert H. Lehman. The session was originally scheduled to be held in June, but was postponed because of restrictions on travel from Britain during the period before the launching of the invasion of Europe.
A statement issued here today declares that it is expected that the forthcoming session of the UNRRA Council will be brief. The meetings will take place at the Windsor hotel. The session will deal chiefly with a number of matters of policy and with receiving reports and recommendations from Mr. Lehman and various UNRRA committees.
