Ludwig Singer, Jewish member of the Czecho-Slovak parliament, today lodged a second protest with the minister of the interior against last week’s anti-Semitic disturbances. He demanded provisions to safeguard the life and property of Jewish citizens. Dr. Singer pointed out the great anxiety of the Jewish population over the extensive anti-Semitic agitation being carried on in certain sections of the press and urged the government to give assurances that it would preserve order under all circumstances in the event of further disturbances.
