A project to put a Nazi commissar into every Jewish community as an overseer was discussed today in the Ministry of Interior. The announced purpose of the plan is “to stop Jewish espionage” in Germany.
The project was suggested by Julius Streicher, notorious Jewbaiter of Nuremberg. Herr Streicher emphasizes in his plan that it would be advisable to “put a party comrade who knows the Jews” into every Jewish community office in order to check the activities of the Jewish leaders and their connections with the outside world.
