A resolution favoring establishment of an organization to promote Polish exports to the United States as a way of helping the Polish Jews was adopted yesterday by a group of Jewish leaders meeting at the home of Samuel C. Lamport.
Among those present were Morris Waldman, George Backer, Dr. S. Margoshes, Bernard Semel, Benjamin Winter, Zelig Tygel and Mr. Seidner, who represented the Polish-Jewish Institute.
Mr. Tygel pointed out that the American Committee for the Relief of Jews in Poland has collected $75,000, of which $50,000 has already been remitted to Poland.
