Demands for establishment by the Zionist Executive of a special economic organization to halt labor conflicts and guide Jewish trade were made today by Dr. F. Rottenstreich, member of the executive and Mr. Shatzov, president of the Jewish Merchants Association, at a meeting of the association.
Dr. Rottenstreich pointed out the difficulties of home industry in the face of foreign competition and stressed the readiness of the executive to settle labor conflicts. Mr. Antzilevitch attacked the consumers’ cooperatives, charging them with undermining trade.
