Jewish parents in Argentina were urged today ### take whatever steps may be necessary to remove their children from Catholic ##tools. The call was issued by the DAIA, central representative body of Argentine wry, which urged that Jewish children in Argentina be enrolled in Jewish educational institutions.Meanwhile, it vas reported here from Santiago, Chile, that Roberto Bunge, ##ilean Commissioner to Combat Speculation, has charged that “the refugees, mostly ##ws, have abused the hospitality of Chile,” and have abandoned positions in the country’s economy to which they were originally assigned. A number of Jewish immigrants ## Chile entered the country as agricultural workers.

Bunge issued a statement asserting that the refugees are working as “commercial intermediaries” and competing for the business of established firms. The commissioner also charged that the refugees were leasing apartments at exorbitant prices, ?eating a situation of “real strangulation.” However, the report from Santiago points out that the economic crisis in Chile is a result of the government’s “responsible policy of over-industrialization.”
