Markets Commissioner William Fellowes Morgan will recommend in his annual report to the Mayor, which is to be released shortly, that a rabbinical advisory board be delegated powers to pass on all questions of religious doctrine and ritual in connection with legal difficulties involving kosher meat and other kosher food products. The report will also recommend expansion of the department staff of supervisors and inspectors assigned to enforcement of kosher food laws.
