A jubilee celebration held in honor of the seventieth birthday of the veteran Zionist leader, M. M. Ussishkin, was interrupted yesterday by the appearance of a group of Zionist Revisionists wearing brown shirts, who mounted the platform.
The representatives of the labor wing refused to address the meeting so long as the uniformed Revisionists remained on the platform.
The affair had been arranged by the local National Fund Council. S. E. Schweisberg of Montreal was to have delivered a personal greeting from the noted Zionist leader to Canadian Jewry.
