Ussishkin Sees Partition Stand Reversed at Next Congress

CONFIDENCE THAT THE 21ST WORLD ZIONIST CONGRESS WILL REVERSE THE STAND OF THE LAST CONGRESS ON PARTITION OF PALESTINE WAS VOICED HERE TODAY BY MENACHEM M. USSISHKIN, WORLD PRESIDENT OF THE JEWISH NATIONAL FUND, AT THE FIRST PUBLIC MEETING OF THE ANTI-PARTITION LEAGUE. HE SAID DIVISION OF THE HOLY LAND ENDANGERED TWO MILLENNIUMS OF JEWISH HOPE.

A CONFERENCE OF THE GENERAL ZIONIST “A” GROUP REJECTED A RESOLUTION BY ISAAC GRUENBAUM, MEMBER OF THE WORLD ZIONIST EXECUTIVE, FOR AN APPEAL TO GREAT BRITAIN TO SHORTEN THE PERIOD OF TRANSITION TO A PARTITIONED PALESTINE.
