The Vaad Batrala, orthcdox Jewish relief organization, today issued a statement denying charges by the Mizmchi Organization that it had discriminated against Mizrachi members or other segments of needy Jews in Europe when distributing relief raised jointly with the Mizrachi.
The Vaad Hatzala stated that it had no knowledge of the alleged discrimination against Mizrachi members, which led the latter organization to withdraw last week from the Vaad Hatzala and launch its own appeal. It added that Mizrachi members were represented in all its activities and that the Vaad Hatzala is continuing to give ? to religious groups abroad irrespective of Agudeh or Mizrachi affiliations. The ## urged the Mizrachi to rejoin the Vaad Hatzala.
