Vandals set fire to a synagogue in a Paris suburb after damaging the shul’s Torah scrolls, Jewish communal leaders said Wednesday. The rabbi’s office and that of his secretary were destroyed by the attack, they added. The incident took place in the suburb of Garges-les-Gonesses, which has a large population of North African Jews.
