(Jewish Telegraphic Agency)
Nearly all factions active in Jewish life will be represented in the democratic Kehillah for which the elections took place yesterday.
The Zionists, the Agudath Israel, the artisans, the Bund, Jewish labor party and a group of united synagogues elected three representatives each: pro-Zionist synagogues, the association of Jewish house owners, elected two representatives each; a group of merchants, Democrats and the Mizrachi elected one representative each. The Poale Zion party failed to elect a representative because he received one vote less than the required number of votes.
