The fiftieth birthday of Jacob Kirschenbaum, member of the editorial staff of the Jewish Morning Journal for the last twenty years, was celebrated this week by a number of his friends.
Mr. Kirschenbaum has been active in Jewish journalism in the United States for the last thirty years. Born in Galicia, he came to the United States at the age of twelve and participated in the labor movement here. Later, however, he devoted himself to Jewish journalism and is especially active in reviewing the Yiddish theatrical productions.
