Establishment of Brith Rishonim, an organization of veteran American Zionists, was announced today by Louis Lipsky, president of the new group. He said the new organization was intended to be an association of “honorary Zionists” who have been members of a Zionist group for at least 25 years and “who cherish their experiences with comrades who have seen the Zionist movement through its early years to its ultimate triumph.”
Mr. Lipsky said the organization was modeled after a similar body in Israel and that similar groups would be formed in other countries.
