The Nazi-controlled Paris radio reported today that Vichy police have rounded up a large number of Jews in Toulouse for alleged complicity in the bombing of a moving picture theatre in that city on March 1, which killed three German soldiers and injured ten.
The broadcast said that the police had discovered that the bombing had been carried out by “a Jewish resistance movement,” and, “therefore, proceeded to make many arrests among the Jewish population.”
