Whatever anti-Semitism may have existed in France has disappeared in face of the anti-Semitic propaganda conducted by the Vichy Government and the Nazi officials in the occupied territory, declared Andre Diether, first secretary of the Colonial Ministry under Georges Mandel, on his arrival here.
Diethelm was the first person to visit the Belle Voisin prison in which Mandel is confined. Only three visitors are allowed each year. He reports that he found Mandel “firm, energetic and believing in a British victory that will come soon.”
