A city-wide movement of protest among business men and industrialists has arisen against the anti-Semitic student outbreaks at the commercial college, the rector of the college was informed today by the senate of this commercial institution. The chambers of commerce and the various merchants associations informed the senate that those taking part in attacks on Jewish students will receive no business appointments upon graduation.
The intervention of the various official commercial organizations of the city to prevent a repetition of the disturbances is expected to be effective as the students of the commercial colleges are dependent for positions upon these organizations. The latter have received many letters protesting the attacks on Jewish students.
