Representatives of Vladimir Jabotinsky, leader of the Zionist Revisionist Party, arrived here today for the purpose of negotiating with the Austrian authorities to permit the holding in Vienna of the first world congress of the newly proclaimed Independent Zionist Organization.
It is understood that the Austrian authorities are considering the Jabotinsky proposal sympathetically The Revisionists have selected Vienna as the potential site of their first congress since it is the city where Dr. Theodor Herzl, founder of the political Zionist movement, is buried. Praha, capital of Czechoslovakia, has also been considered.
The congress will be held in September. It will open a few days after the Nineteenth World Zionist Congress adjourns in Lucerne.
