Grisha Goluboff, eleven-year-old, Jewish prodigy of the violin, will perform here on July 29 when he will appear as guest soloist in the musical and dramatic spectacle “Epic of a Nation,” it was announced today by Leo Kopp, musical director of the presentation. The “Epic of a Nation” is to climax the celebration of Jewish Community Day at a Century of Progress.

A year ago Goluboff was the center of international attention when, following the advent of Hitler, the German consulates of two American cities demanded that he return the $25,000 Guarnerius violin which had been loaned to him by a Berlin music house. In his Chicago appearance he will play a priceless Stradivarius which has been loaned to him for the occasion by a Chicago friend, his manager, I. M. Noble, declared.
