The World Health Organization’s first advanced training center in immunology outside of its headquarters in Switzerland, was opened at the Weizmann institute of Science at Rehovoth today. It will operate within the framework of the institute’s department of chemical immunology headed by Prof. Michael Sela. The agreement with the Weizmann Institute stipulates that the WHO’s immunology research and training centers in other countries will be able to nominate students for advanced training at Rehovoth.
