A request that the colonies should be connected by railway with Tel Aviv was presented to Sir John Chancellor, Palestine High Commissioner, by the secretary of the Colonists’ Association.
The High Commissioner replied that he was in sympathy with the plan but that there were no government funds available to carry it out at present.
