Want Railway Between Colonies and Tel Aviv

A request that the colonies should be connected by railway with Tel Aviv was presented to Sir John Chancellor, Palestine High Commissioner, by the secretary of the Colonists’ Association.

The High Commissioner replied that he was in sympathy with the plan but that there were no government funds available to carry it out at present.

The Yiddish opera. “Shulamith.” by A. Gold fadden, will be broadcast over Station WEAF on the United Synagogue radio program, Wednesday evening, April 10th at seven o’clock by A. Gold., Hazomir Choral Society of the Bronx Y.M.H.A. directed by B.A. Rabinowitz.
