A wave of suicides among displaced Jews in Germany was predicted today by Assistant Secretary of War Howard C. Petersen, unless Britain agrees to admit 100,000 into Palestine.
In an address prepared for delivery before the Columbus Chamber of Commerce, Petersen said that delay in settlement of the Palestine question will result in widespread unrest and possibly an attempt by Jewish DP’s to cross into France and Switzerland.
