Edward M.M. Warburg, chairman of the Joint Distribution Committee, and Dr. Joseph Schwartz, its European director, today arrived in Warsaw where they immediately held a conference with representatives of all Jewish parties and organizations in Poland.
Warburg pointed out that American Jewry was particularly interested in the conditions of the Jews of Poland and promised all possible help. After the meeting they went to Otwock for the unveiling of a tablet in memory of David Guzik, J.D.C. representative who died in an air crash at Prague.
