A number of leading Transjordan sheiks have sent telegrams of protest to the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem and the Arab Executive, objecting to the propaganda the latter are conducting against Emir Abdullah in connection with the matter of leasing land to Jews.
The sheiks have warned the Mufti and the Arab Executive that a continuation of this agitation may lead to a break in the relations between the Arabs of both countries.
