Harry M. Warner, president of Warner Brothers, has accepted the chairmanship of the committee of sponsors arranging a dinner in honor of Aldermanic President Bernard S. Deutsch, it was announced yesterday by the American Jewish Congress.
The dinner will be given Mr. Deutsch on May 7 at the Hotel Commodore and is in recognition of the completion of six years as president of the American Jewish Congress, from which office he retired last month, owing to the pressure of his official duties as president of the Board of Aldermen. He has been succeeded in office by Dr. Stephen S. Wise, one of the founders of the American Jewish Congress.
