Warsaw British Consul Refuses Visas to Jews

–Not-withstanding the payment of the sixty pound deposit required of Polish tourists asking for visas to visit Palestine, the British Consul in Warsaw today refused to issue visas for 150 Jewish tourists who were ready to leave for Palestine. At the same time the Consul granted visas for all Christian tourists. About 800 Jewish immigrants left Poland for Palestine.
