A huge mass meeting was held here last night to protest against the anti-Jewish atrocities in Germany.
Leaders of Polish Jewry and Sejm deputies addressed the meeting. Resolutions calling for a united boycott action against Nazi Germany and for foreign intervention to curb the anti-Semitic excesses, were cabled to the Board of Jewish Deputies in London, as well as to the League of Nations, which was also asked to protect German-Jewish refugees.
The Society for the Defense of Home Industries organized a month ago by Polish Jews to replace the German Boycott Committee which was dissolved by the Polish authorities was today legalized by the Government.
The German Boycott Committee was dissolved on the insistence of Germany in the negotiations between Germany and Poland for a renewed trade agreement between the two countries.
