Warsaw Kehillah Seeks Monopoly on Monuments

A monopoly on monuments set up in the Jewish cemetery is sought by the Warsaw Kehillah Executive Committee as a means of increasing the Kehillah’s revenue.

The stonecutters, informed of the decision, have protested against the Kebillah’s going into business. Some of the cutters have threatened terroristic measures in case the Kehillah interferes with their trade.
