Negotiations between the orthodox party, Agudath Israel, and the extremely assimilated wing of Polish Jewry for the purpose of creating a united bloc for the approaching Kehillah elections, were started today, it is reported, at the instigation of the Gerer Rabbi. A similar bloc has been formed in Galicia.
Many leaders of the Agudath Israel, however, are not satisfied with this action as they fear that it will compromise them in the eyes of the voters.
