The entire Jewish quarter of Warsaw was razed in yesterday’s bombardment by Nazi planes, it was reported here today in Polish diplomatic circles.
An estimated 1,000 Jews were killed in the air raids and not a single house has been left standing in the Nalewki section and nearby streets.
