A wartime National Conference on Palestine, originally scheduled to be held at Philadelphia on April 17 and 18, has been postponed to May 1 and 2 to avoid inconvenience to delegates who desire to spend the Passover season at their homes, it was announced by the United Palestine Appeal today.
The Conference, which will be attended by American Jewish leaders from all parts of the country, will have as its theme, “United for Victory,” according to a statement made by Dr. Abba Hillel Silver, national chairman of the United Palestine Appeal.
