The Jewish Telegraphic Agency was today informed by the State Department that some of the hearings of the Anglo-American Inquiry Committee on Palestine, which will start here on Jan. 7, may be open and some closed.
A final decision on the matter will be reached only after the British members of the committee arrive. They are expected to leave Britain today and are scheduled to reach New York on Jan. 2. A list of the organizations invited to testify at the hearings will not be issued before the arrival of the British members.
