Weinberg is Elected by Federation Unit

Samuel Weinberg, chairman of this year’s Spring campaign of the Junior Federation of the Brooklyn Federation of Jewish Charities, has been elected president of the Juniors for the coming year. He succeeds Milton Pariser.

Mr. Weinberg’s choice as president of the Juniors was officially announced last night at installation of the Juniors’ new officers conducted at Brooklyn Jewish Center, 667 Eastern Parkway, by Supreme Court Justice Mitchell May, president of the senior Federation.

The junior organization includes about 2,000 young men and women between the ages of 18 and 30. Miss Helen L. Strauss is executive secretary. Jacob M. Dinnes was chosen first vice-president of the juniors; Neil M. Lieblich, second vice-president; Hannah Goldfarb, third vice-president; Nathoniel E. Coen, treasurer; and Jewel Baar, secretary.

LAWYERS, JUDGES TO AID BROOKLYN CHARITY DRIVE

Lawyers and judges will conduct a special Brooklyn Federation Day today by devoting the afternoon to solicitation of funds toward their $30,000 quota in the campaign of the Brooklyn Federation of Jewish Charities, according to an announcement last night by Kings County Court Judge Algernon I. Nova.
