Confidence that his forthcoming visit to the United Staes will result in the final consummation of the Jewish Agency was expressed by Dr. Chaim Weizmann, president of the World Zionist Organization, when interviewed by the Jewish Telegraphic Agency on the eve of his departure tomorow for America.
“I do not regard the differences existing between the decisions of the Zionist General Council and the recommendations of the Palestine Survey Commission as being of an irreconcilable nature. I feel that the American non-Zionists are willing to participate in the work for the upbuilding of Palestine and help toward its success. I hope to settle matters definitely during my present visit to the United States and to finally bring the Jewish Agency into existence,” The Zionist leader stated.
Dr. Weizmann added that he intends to call a meeting of the Zionist General Council by the end of December 1928 to act upon the results of his present American trip.
