Dr. Chaim Weizmann, former president of the World Zionist Organization, now on a visit here, will not come to the United States in February as scheduled, according to a statement made by him.
Pressing business reasons are ascribed for this change of plans. Dr. Weizmann had been invited to come to the United States by the American Palestine Campaign.
Dr. Weizmann’s visit to the United States has not been called off entirely, the Jewish Telegraphic Agency learns.
There is a possibility that his visit may merely be postponed and that he will come to this country in the spring, probably in May.
