An entire column of the front page of last night’s Daily Express is devoted to a report of Zionist leader Chaim Weizmann’s contribution to the synthetic rubber program of the United States.

The article quotes Vice-President Henry A. Wallace’s remarks on Dr. Weizmann’s participation in the formation of a program of producing synthetic rubber in the United States, delivered at a dinner of the American Palestine Committee in Washington on March 9. It also quotes the tribute paid Dr. Weizmann’s chemical genius by Britain’s World War I Prime Minister, Lloyd George, who once declared that the Zionist leader’s developments of certain explosives “saved the British Army at a critical time.”
