Dr. Ludwig Erhard, West German Minister of Economic Affairs, may visit Egypt during a four-week world tour following the forthcoming International Monetary Fund conference in New Delhi, India, it was reported today.
It is believed that Dr. Erhard, who will call on countries in need of assistance in the development of their resources and economies, will discuss with the Nasser regime the possibility of West German financial and technical aid but will not conclude any agreement with Cairo at this time.
It is believed that during the New Delhi conference he will take the opportunity presented by the presence of Israeli Finance Minister Levi Eshkol to hold a meeting with the Israeli leader.
