While Brown University in Providence, R. I., suppressed the organization of the Pi Lambda Phi Fraternity the petition for a charter of Tau Epsilon Phi, the national fraternity, was granted to Jewish students at the University of Maine. The Maine chapter is to be known as Tau Zeta chapter of Tau Epsilon Phi.
