A White House announcement of Presidential appointments issued today indicated that Eric Johnston, the President’s special envoy on Near Eastern irrigation development, is returning to that area. Mr. Johnston will meet President Eisenhower on Thursday, State Department sources however, said they were without information on any plan for Mr. Johnston to return to the area.
