French authorities have promise to pemit the return to France of Polish Jews who fled from here to seek refuge in Switzerland during the German occupation, it was disclosed today by Rabbi Babad of the council to rescue Polish Jewry, whose headquarters are in London.
A delegation of the council, consisting of Rabbi Babad, Emanual Baurer and Dr. Loans, has left here for Belgium, after conferring with the Polish Red Gross, the Polish Ambassador, the Joint Distribution Committee and the Organization of Polish Jews far (##) and Relief.
The Organization of Polish Jews in France, at its first meeting since the (##), dicided to call a world conference of Polish Jews in Paris as soon as possible.
