Mrs. Leah Lucy Gaster, widow of Haham Dr. Moses Gaster and mother-in-law of fomer president Neville Laski of the Board of Deputies of British Jews, died here yesterday at the age of 69.
Mrs. Gaster was active in Jewish communal work. She was vice-president of the Women’s International Zionist Organization and a past president of the women’s lodge of B’nai B’rith. She was the daughter of Dr. Michael Friedlander, head of Jews’ College.
