According to information received from Minsk by the National Conference on Soviet Jewry, refusenik Nadezhda Ovsishcher, wife of former Col. Lev Ovsishcher, suffered a second massive heart attack in the past week. She is presently listed in critical condition and is hospitalized. As a result of the severe coronary failure Mrs. Ovsishcher was, at one time, pronounced “clinically dead: (cessation of vital signs.) She is now visited three times daily by her husband, who brings her food to help her recovery. The Ovsishchers have been struggling for exit visas since 1972. Their daughter, Tatiana, lives in Israel.
