(Jewish Telegraphic Agency)
A new edition of the works of Moses Mendelssohn, German Jewish philosopher who started a new era in Jewish history, will be published on the occasion of the 200th anniversary of his birth. The anniversary will be celebrated in 1929.
A committee of prominent German Jews was formed for the purpose of preparing the edition. The committee has issued an appeal to all persons who are in possession of manuscripts or rare editions of Mendelssohn’s works or of letters to or from him to communicate with the committee. All to Dr. Julius Guttmann, Berlin N. W.87.Wullenweberstr.2.
