William Rosenwald, a national chairman of the United Jewish Appeal, left the United States for his first visit to Israel, it was announced here today. He will study the programs of immigrant reception, settlement and absorption financed by the U.J.A. He will also visit the Malben institutions maintained by the Joint Distribution Committee in Israel. He will study J.D.C. activities in Italy and France enroute back from Israel to the United States.
