Five-hundred Jewish students at Wilno University, following a 24-hour hunger-strike protesting the authorities’ “indifference” to anti-Semitic attacks, decided today to combat any attempt to segregate them in lecture rooms.

They were greeted by a crowd of Jews as they left the Student Union home after their strike. Representatives of the Progressive Polish Students’ organization expressed solidarity with their protest action.
