As a result of the recent dissolution by the government of the Jewish Community of Wilno, the Jews of this city today established a special committee for the protection of Jewish interests and the Jewish honor.
This new committee is composed of representatives of the various organized parties in Wilno Jewry.
The Jewish Community Council was dissolved June 18, at the same time that the authorities also dissolved the Jewish Community Board of Radom. Inefficiency was given as the reason and new elections were ordered in both cities.
