Wilno University, hotbed of student anti-Semitic agitation, was again closed today following resignation of its rector after a plebiscite on institution of “ghetto” benches for Jewish students failed to produce conclusive results.
Disorders arising from efforts of Nationalist students last December to enforce segregation of Jewish students had forced a prolonged shutdown of the university.
